JOOURNALS COOKIE AND WEBSITE TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION

Free adult account service

Version: adult-free-technologies-2026-10-27-v1

1. What this information covers

This information explains the technologies used for Joournals adult accounts and the surrounding website. Read it with the Privacy notice for information about UTDANNINGSKONSULENTENE AS, the account information we use, processing locations and your rights. Contact privacy@joournals.com with questions.

2. Signing in and protecting access

Memberstack provides authentication. Its standard sign-in implementation uses browser localStorage, which keeps information on the device for the relevant website. The Joournals account implementation uses that standard setup. Authentication information allows the service to recognise your signed-in session; it is not a copy of your password in the Joournals application database.

The application's current session-duration setting is 14 days. That setting concerns session validity; it is not a promise that every browser-stored item or provider log is erased after 14 days. Sign out on shared devices. Browser settings let you remove stored website data, which may require you to sign in again. Clearing browser data does not close the server-side account or delete contributions.

Supabase hosts the private application database and account service. Requests include the information needed to verify the signed-in account and perform the requested operation. Its network protection may use Cloudflare's __cf_bm security cookie to help distinguish automated traffic. Cloudflare describes that cookie as expiring after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Browser privacy settings can affect whether a cookie offered by a service is stored.

Authentication and access-protection information is used to provide and protect the service. Optional marketing or analytics permission is not a condition for obtaining a free account.

3. Website measurement and translation

Memberstack's optional visitor-activity reporting is switched off for this account application. This does not remove the technical information needed for authentication and security.

Framer serves the website and supplies built-in website statistics. Framer describes its analytics as using no analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers, with a daily changing hash of IP address and browser information for daily visitor counts. This description concerns Framer's own analytics; other website services have their own handling.

Public information pages use Lantis for translation. Translation can process page text and technical request information. The account, login, registration and payment-test routes are excluded from loading that translation script, including the transition from a public page into an account page. The private account service does not require its text to be translated by Lantis.

4. Other features and choices

Existing public project and conference forms are separate from the free adult account service. Their form-specific processing must be explained where those features are offered. This account information does not represent a review or migration of every existing submission, newsletter, payment or video service.

No optional marketing permission is requested by the free-account registration form. Before introducing a new optional technology, we will provide the relevant information and any required choice. Your browser also provides controls for stored website data; restricting authentication or security storage can affect sign-in.

For questions about a technology, its retention or an applicable choice, contact privacy@joournals.com. The Privacy notice explains how to exercise your rights and request account closure.
