Maria Montessori recognised not only the rights of children and adolescents, but also the value of young people’s abilities, ideas and contributions to society. Her words, “unknown powers, which can guide us to a radiant future”, inspired the theme of our 2027 conference.
Join us at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo on 3 February 2027 for the annual Montessori International Student Conference.
Once again, we look forward to sharing work, ideas and experiences from across the international Montessori community, looking ahead towards a radiant future.
Be part of the programme
We’re inviting contributions from children and adolescents across the international Montessori community.
We’re looking for contributions that offer fresh perspectives, spark curiosity and give others something to think about. Explore how we can shape the future through peace, science, nature, culture or the ways we live and work together.
Your contribution could be a presentation of work you’ve been doing, an introduction to your student business, an interview, an original poem or story, or a song or dance performance connected to the theme. A simple idea, thoughtfully explored, can be just as compelling as a large project.
Contributions can be presented in Oslo or recorded in advance. Send us a short proposal explaining what you would like to share and how it connects to “A radiant future”.
We’ll review proposals as we bring the programme together.
