How We Started a Student Café
A small student idea became a shared place to pause, talk and take responsibility. Here is how we planned, tested and opened our own café.

We wanted a place that belonged to students — not another room to pass through. A group of us started with a borrowed coffee maker, a few stools and a simple question: what would make the school day feel more connected?
With support from our teacher team, we built a rotating café crew, learned how to price ingredients responsibly and invited classmates to shape the menu. The café now opens twice a week and has become a calm meeting point for students across year groups.
