When we came across a photo of a group of children sitting together for lunch, one of our four-year-olds stopped and looked closely.
“What are they eating?”
It was such a simple question, but it immediately caught the interest of the group. The children began wondering about what might be on the table, whether the children in the photograph ate the same kinds of food as we do, and what lunch might look like in other parts of the world.
Rather than simply finding the answers for them, we thought we would invite our wider Montessori community into the children’s exploration.
This is what we had for lunch today here in Norway. What did lunch look like where you are?
